About Us

At St. Bernardine Hospice Care, each of our care providers is focused on providing excellent medical care to patients who are terminally ill. Our nurses and other staff work closely with patients and their family members to determine goals, manage pain and decrease other uncomfortable symptoms of the underlying disease.

Our hospice care uses a variety of tools to assist terminally ill patients and their family members with whatever they are going through medically and emotionally. Our staff can provide end-of-life care in patient homes, nursing homes or inpatient hospitals. We also provide bereavement care for families who have recently lost loved ones. We treat each patient individually believing that each patient has his or her own goals and needs through the end of life. While these patients may not have the hope of a cure, we can manage symptoms to improve physical and mental comfort.

St. Bernardine Hospice Care’s History

Our history throughout the community is one of quality care and compassion. We seek to have a visible presence and can be seen at local health fairs and outreach sessions. In so doing, we let people know of our presence and our services to the community. We also educate them on the hospice option. As a patient-first provider, we ensure that families know how much importance we place on the needs and comfort of our patients.
